PLEASANT GROVE — Pleasant Grove residents could see a 52-percent tax increase if the city council approves the construction of a new public safety building.

City leaders came together Monday night to discuss options for funding the project. Another meeting will take place Wednesday to talk about the specific cost and different options.

Councilwoman Sydney Lemone said the council wants to do what’s best for its residents and for the public safety employees.
