SCIPIO, Utah – Crews are battling a new wildfire near Scipio Sunday.
Lisa Reid, Bureau of Land Management fire information officer, said the Jim Wills Fire is burning on about 10 to 12 acres north of Scipio and east of I-15.
Reid said the fire was started by lightning Saturday night. The fire is not threatening any structures, and it is being fought from the air because the terrain is too rugged for ground crews.
