SALT LAKE CITY — More than 2,400 customers are without power in Salt Lake City Friday evening.
Residents in the Capitol Hill and Avenues neighborhoods lost power due to downed lines, according to a spokesman with Rocky Mountain Power. A tree took down the lines due to wind.
Power is expected to be fully restored at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday.
Rocky Mountain Power has updated the number of customers without power, which was initially reported as more than 7,300 customers.
