Home-Style Honey Sesame Chicken Breast (10.02.13)

  • 1/2 lb. breaded chicken breast, cooked
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup string beans, cut 2″ long
  • 1/2 cup yellow bell pepper, cut ¾” diced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Honey Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4  cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Combine ingredients to make Honey Sauce. Pan fry chicken for 2-5 minutes or until fully cooked. Stir fry bell pepper and green beans for 30 seconds.

Add honey sauce to pan and stir until the sauce boils and thickens. Turn off the flame. Pour in cooked chicken. Stir and fold several times to mix ingredients. Add sesame oil; stir and fold ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Place on serving plate. Sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds.
