SALT LAKE CITY — The cold snap Saturday morning was short lived with temperatures hitting a low of 34 degrees in the Salt Lake valley, according to the National Weather Service.
The weekend is expected to be sunny and dry, said meteorologist Lisa Verzella.
“It’s jacket weather,” Verzella said.
The high temperatures for the weekend are expected to be in the upper 50s and 60s with sunny skies. The next cold system will not hit the valley until Tuesday, which will bring precipitation, Verzella said.
