CACHE COUNTY — A Richmond toddler lost consciousness after being trapped between a bed and wall Oct. 18.
At approximately 2:20 p.m. Cache County Sheriff’s deputies and medical crews responded to the home where the 3-year-old child was unresponsive.
The toddler had been playing in a room at the house and fell between the bed and wall. The child was found by family and freed, officials said.
Shortly after being freed the child lost consciousness. Family members initiated CPR until medical crews arrived, officials said.
The toddler was revived and taken to Logan Regional Hospital. Doctors decided to have the patient flown to Primary Children’s Hospital for precautionary reasons.
The toddler appears to have recovered, officials said.
