Mike Lloyd teaches sixth grade at Northlake Elementary School in Tooele, and he is FOX 13 News' A + Teacher of the Week.
Those who know Lloyd said he helps students engage with their coursework, and they said Lloyd goes out of his way to help children understand when they struggle with a concept by explaining the material in a way they can relate to.
