WEST VALLEY CITY — An aluminum sulfate spill forced officials to close the 3500 S on-ramp to I-215 W Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 4 p.m. when about 50 gallons of the chemical spilled from a truck pulling trailer.
Crews are working to assess the seriousness of the chemical spill and to determine if the aluminum sulfate poses an immediate health risk.
