SALT LAKE CITY — Police have arrested a man in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a 73-year-old man Monday night.
Deryk Robeldo, 19, has been arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail, and he faces charges of second-degree felony hit-and-run as well as third-degree felony obstruction of justice.
Monday’s accident caused the death of 73-year-old Gerano Zaragoza-Valencia.
According to information from the Salt Lake City Police Department, Robeldo was arrested at his parents home in Salt Lake City, and his vehicle was recovered in Woods Cross.
