SOUTH JORDAN, Utah -- A game ended with a rescue after an 11-year-old girl got stuck in a washing machine Tuesday.
The young South Jordan girl decided to hide in the washing machine during a game of hide-and-go-seek. When she later tried to climb out of the machine, she found she was stuck.
The girl's aunt was at home at the time, and she tried to pull the girl out. At one point she tried using butter, peanut butter and ice to get her niece out of the machine, but with no success.
When the girl's mother came home, she realized they needed more help and called 911. In the end, crews were able to get the girl out safely.
