A YouTube video published on Sunday appears to show a Home Depot employee catching a baby just as it begins to fall from a shopping cart.
According to an Alaska Dispatch article, the employee who caught the baby is named Chris Strickland and the incident occurred on January 8.
The baby was in an infant carrier that had been placed on top of the shopping cart.
At least one child has died and dozens of others have been injured under similar circumstances, a Consumer Product Safety Commission report says.
