LEHI, Utah – An annual model railroad show was held at Thanksgiving Point Saturday, and the event had offerings for train enthusiasts of all ages.
The annual event has been going on for 23 years and is the work of the Ophir, Tintic and Western Model Railroad Club.
Bill Barnhart was one of those at the event, and he said it offers fun for all ages.
“I have a granddaughter who is autistic, and she has cerebral palsy,” he said. “She's 15-years-old. She still doesn't talk, but when she gets around trains she gets excited and she jumps up and down and laughs and giggles."
