Police search for tanning salon robber

SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Police are searching for a man who they said robbed three tanning salons in the Salt Lake Valley.

According to police, the robberies happened within two hours Tuesday night. They said the suspect held up salons at 4139 South and 1785 West in Taylorsville, 4550 South and 900 East in Holladay and 5664 South and 900 East in Murray.

Police said the suspect pulled a knife on the employees and demanded cash at all three businesses.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black cap, black hooded sweatshirt and a backpack with an Air Jordan logo on it. Police believe the man is in his 20s and about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
