OREM, Utah — An Orem woman was arrested Monday after she allegedly burglarized several homes and cars.
Officers said they arrested Brianne Dangerfield, 24, after she attempted to burglarize two homes within 30 minutes.
Police said a homeowner reported that Dangerfield had asked to use his bathroom. The resident told officers he could hear Dangerfield rummaging around, and when she came out of the bathroom he noticed some money was missing.
When police arrived, they learned that Dangerfield did steal the money. That money was found on her person and returned to the homeowner. Dangerfield was cited and released.
About 30 minutes after the incident, Dangerfield knocked on the door of a police officer’s home and asked the wife if she could use the bathroom. The officer heard Dangerfield rummaging around, and when he opened the door he found her searching the bathroom cabinet.
The officer handcuffed Dangerfield until another officer arrived. Police later learned in-between the two home burglaries she also burglarized at least two cars.
Dangerfield was booked into the Utah County Jail and faces burglary charges.
