The top conservative state in 2013 has been revealed, and it’s not Utah.
According to a new Gallup poll, Wyoming was the most conservative state in 2013. Wyoming replaces Alabama, which fell to No. 10 on the list. Utah came in at No. 4 after Mississippi and Idaho.
In Utah, 46.9 percent of residents polled identify themselves as conservatives. The Beehive state is up one spot from last year when it came in fifth on the list.
The District of Columbia took the first spot on the top liberal area in the U.S. list, followed by Vermont and Massachusetts.
