DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah -- The Duchesne High School drill team now holds the title for most consecutive state championship wins.
The dancers clinched their eleventh victory at state over the weekend.
“You don't want to be the team that is like, 'Oh dang it. You had to be the team that has to lose,” said Team Captain Nikki Coil.
Coach Kellee Grant said it’s hard to pinpoint the secret to their multi-year success. But the drill team said it’s all thanks to the coach, who led them to eight of the 11 wins.
