SANDY, Utah — A lockdown at Sandy Elementary School was lifted Tuesday afternoon as of 1:45.
The school was placed on lockdown as police were searching for a bank robbery suspect in the area.
According to Sgt. Jon Arnold, Sandy Police Department, police have been at a home close to the school in pursuit of the suspect.
A sister of the suspect told police she thought she saw a man with clothing and a build similar to that of the suspect walking toward the school, Arnold said.
