Animal advocate discusses bill that would end bans on dog breeds in city limits

Posted

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah House of Representatives voted to pass legislation Friday that would prevent cities from putting restrictions on certain breeds of dogs within city limits.

There are 10 Utah cities that have bans on so-called aggressive breeds, and the bill in question would end those bans if it becomes law.

Jamie Usry from the Humane Society of Utah came to the FOX 13 News Studio Friday to discuss the bill, which her organization supports. See the video above for her comments.
