SALT LAKE CITY – Police said they have cited a man for drunken driving after his car became stuck on a curb line on a bridge.

Officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department said the driver lost control of his car in the 1500 block of North Temple Saturday afternoon and became high-centered on a raised curb.

Lt. Josh Scharman of the Salt Lake City Police Department said the 45-year-old male driver had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.

There were no other injuries reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
