SALT LAKE CITY – Avalanche experts warn that avalanche danger will be high in Utah throughout the weekend as storms continue across portions of the state.
Craig Gordon of the Utah Avalanche Center said strong, ridge-top winds are creating unpredictable avalanche conditions.
“Avalanche conditions will be changing rapidly the next couple of days,” he said.
Gordon said high-altitude areas could see between 1 and 2 feet of snow over the coming days.
