Search for SLC Subway robbery suspects continues

SALT LAKE CITY -- Police are trying to locate two suspects who robbed a Salt Lake City Subway Restaurant Monday.

Officers said the robbery happened just before 3 p.m. at the Subway near State Road 201 on 2100 South.

The suspects were wearing dark clothing, gloves, masks and they were each carrying a handgun. Officers said they threatened employees before stealing cash from the register and running off.

Detectives said it appears both suspects are both Polynesian men in their 20s, and they are both about 6 feet tall.
