VERNAL, Utah – Drill teams from across the country met in Florida recently for a national competition, and a team from Utah took first place.
The members of the Uintah U’ettes competed in six forms of dance, and they won first place in each of those individual categories as well as the grand prize for best dance team.
Coaches Robin McClellan and Elizabeth Howcroft worked with the team of 31 girls, and they said they had great support from the community.
