OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma veterinarian lost his wedding ring when he took it off to perform emergency surgery on a dog, KFOR-TV reports.
Gary McNeill’s ring fell in a garbage can and was soon on its way to the local landfill.
When McNeill came back to work the next day, the garbage had already been taken out and was on its way to the local landfill, where workers drop off 2,000 tons of garbage every day.
