SUGAR HOUSE — A duck has settled and laid six eggs in a planter along a busy street in Sugar House.
Local businesses have named her “Diva Duck.” The bird made its nest outside of the store the Square Nest.
The business owner said the duck seems to be OK with the foot traffic.
Employees at the store hope they can protect “Diva Duck” long enough for her eggs to hatch and find a way to get the ducklings safely out of the pot.
They think the eggs will hatch in time for Mother’s Day.
