Viral Video: ‘Living with Lag’

Earlier this month, four volunteers wore special headgear causing everything they saw and heard to be delayed by up to three seconds after it actually happened.

The volunteers were participating in an experiment designed to emulate “lag,” the delay often experienced by internet users on a slow connection.

Watch what happens when they try simple activities like eating, bowling, playing basketball and dancing while under the influence of lag.
