SNOWBIRD, Utah — Craig Gordon of the Utah Avalanche Center is a regular guest on FOX 13’s Good Day Utah, and he recently celebrated his 13th wedding anniversary in a unique way.
Gordon and his wife, Anita, took to the slopes of Snowbird, and as the picture they provided shows, they donned some unusual gear for the event. Gordon said they had nearly a foot of fresh snow to help them celebrate.
The pair reportedly makes it a tradition to shred the slopes in wedding gown and tuxedo to mark their anniversary.
Gordon is an avalanche forecaster who frequently speaks with FOX 13 News to spread awareness of avalanche conditions and dangers across the state.
