SALT LAKE CITY – Governor Gary Herbert signed a bill Thursday giving millions of dollars to STEM education.

House Bill 150 creates more programs and resources focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, including a $15 million one-time fund and $5 million ongoing.

College and elementary school students from the Utah Valley University robotics program met the governor before he signed the bill, giving them a chance to show off their robots.
