- 1 pound green beans, washed
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1-2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Blanch green beans. Heat a large pan or wok over medium heat. Pour in canola oil and add sliced garlic, cook for about a minute. Toss in green beans and sesame oil. Stir the beans to coat with oil. Add soy sauce and stir frequently for about 5 minutes. Stir in toasted sesame seeds and almonds; transfer to a serving platter.
