SALT LAKE CITY – A migratory goose traveling through Salt Lake City chose the wrong spot to land and wound up as lunch for the king of the jungle.
Photos from FOX 13 News viewer Jared Theurer show a lion at Hogle Zoo eating a goose that flew into the lion enclosure Friday afternoon.
Officials at the zoo said they have seen an increase in migratory birds stopping at the zoo.
