PLAIN CITY, Utah -- Officials from the Weber County Sheriff's Office hope the public can help them catch those responsible for the obscene graffiti found around the exterior of Fremont High School Tuesday morning.

According to a press release, staff members of the school discovered the spray-painted graffiti, which was described as profane and sexually-oriented.

"The amount of graffiti was extensive, covering a majority of the exterior walls, doors, windows, portable buildings, trees and walkways," the press release said.

Maintenance crews from the Weber School District have spent much of Tuesday and Wednesday cleaning up the graffiti and the cost of restoration is estimated to be several thousand dollars.

A $500 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).

Anyone with information that may help the Weber County Sheriff's Office with their investigation is asked to call the Weber County Consolidated Dispatch Center at (801) 629-8221.
