- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 lb. steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 green onions, diced (optional)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with the chili powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic and broccoli; sauté 4-5 minutes. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Remove vegetables from pan. Set aside. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes or until fully cooked to desired doneness. Add vegetables back in pan with soy sauce. In a small bowl mix the water and cornstarch together. Add to pan. Stir well. Serve immediately. Garnish with green onions, if desired.
