Suspect shot by police in hospital in May booked into jail

NORTH LOGAN, Utah – A few weeks after he allegedly walked into a hospital with two handguns and made demands before being shot by police, a man has been booked into the Cache County Jail.

Jason James Burr was shot by police in May after Burr entered the Emergency Room of Cache Valley Hospital and “..made demands and produced two handguns.”

The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition after being shot three times, police said in May, and the man was arrested and booked into jail after he was released from a hospital Friday.

The officers who shot at Burr were probation and parole agents who were in the hospital on an unrelated matter. Click here for more details about the shooting.
