LOGAN, Utah – A man accused of attaching his cell phone to a stick and recording video up women’s skirts is now behind bars.

Cache County officials said witnesses pointed out the suspect, Michael Peter Lawler, to officers over the weekend at Summerfest.

Chief Gary Jensen said officers found Lawler with a long, slender piece of cardboard he was allegedly using to conceal his phone while shooting video up women’s skirts.

Lawler is in the Cache County Jail facing nine counts of voyeurism.

The Logan City Police Department said it would like to speak with any women who Lawler may have recorded.

Officers said anyone who believes they were recorded can contact the police department at (435) 716-9465.
