SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two stars of the show “Modern Family,” are in Salt Lake City raising money for marriage equality.

Ty Burrell and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were at Burrell’s SLC clothing store, “Chalk Garden Co-op” Thursday.

Burrell doesn’t just own businesses in Salt Lake, he also lives here for much of the year.

He even recently wrote what he called “A Love Letter to Salt Lake” that stirred some excitement online.

The pair raised money with some creative flair, unveiling a bow tie Burrell designed called “Tie Burrell.”

Proceeds from the tie sales support Ferguson’s organization called “Tie The Knot.”
