UPDATE: Summit County crews have cleaned the fuel spill and the bees are still contained after the hazmat situation Wednesday.
Traffic is back to normal.
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – Hazardous Materials crews are working to contain a fuel spill and bees in Summit County.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Royce said a semi truck hit some kind of debris in the eastbound lanes of 169 at mile marker 168 and ruptured the fuel tank.
Officials said the truck is carrying bees; they are still contained.
Traffic is down to one lane eastbound at this time.
Westbound lanes are not impacted.
