Utah State Prison in Draper on lockdown after gang-related fight, 2 inmates to hospital

DRAPER, Utah – The Utah State Prison is on lockdown in Draper after a gang-related fight.

Wasatch facility officials said six to nine inmates were involved and two went to the hospital.

Authorities have not released the identities of the inmates involved.

Utah State Prison is on lockdown following a gang-related fight this morning involving 6-9 inmates. Two inmates were taken to a hospital.

The lockdown is only for the Draper facility. An investigation into the incident is underway.
