Movie costumes come to BYU art museum in traveling exhibit

PROVO, Utah -- The Cut! Costume and Cinema exhibit is coming to the Brigham Young University Museum of art in July.

The traveling exhibit features 43 costumes from more than two dozen motion pictures. The outfits come from London Costume House Cosprop, which specializes in period pieces.

Costumes on display will be from the films “Sherlock Holmes,” “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

The costumes are not copies.

The exhibit starts July 11.
