SALT LAKE CITY – A former school bus driver who allegedly sexually abused a 5-year-old student with special needs who rode regularly on his bus was in court Wednesday.
John Martin Carrell faces nearly two dozen felony charges in connection with the case and has been in jail since May; he was charged after a father reported his daughter said the man had touched her inappropriately and police reviewed surveillance camera footage from the bus.
