HEBER CITY, Utah – At least 18 people have been arrested in the last 24 hours at the Rainbow Family gathering in Heber City, according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s office.
Deputy Chief Jared Rigby said the arrests were mainly drug-related.
One person was taken into custody for assaulting a Forest Service officer’s horse.
Four people were arrested for felonies after deputies found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a bus parked at the gathering.
Others were arrested for crimes like shoplifting.
Deputies said about 64 people have been arrested since the gathering began in Heber City earlier this month.
