COALVILLE, Utah — The Rockport Fire has been declared extinguished, according to fire officials Tuesday afternoon.

Hand crews spend the last few days doing mop up of hot spots, according to the North Summit Fire District. The fire was determined to be completely out as of noon.

According to the release, Monday’s rain also soaked the area.

Fire officials believe there is no threat of re-ignition.

The blaze started Friday at 3 p.m. Officials say it was human caused and is under investigation.

Approximately 120 acres burned.
