EDMONTON, Alberta – A mother of five was mocked over her stretch marks and took to social media after the confrontation.
Tanis Jex-Blake, 33, said she was sunbathing while her children played at Alberta Beach.
“All of a sudden I heard, ‘Oh my God, look at that, that’s f****ng nasty, that’s disgusting, look how gross that is,’” she told GlobalNews.
She said she saw a woman and two men pointing at her and pretending to kick her.
Jex-Blake said she tried to ignore the remarks but cried on her way home.
Now she has taken to Facebook to defend herself and mothers everywhere.
“I’m NOT sorry that my body has housed, grown, protected, birthed and nurtured FIVE fabulous, healthy, intelligent and wonderful human beings,” she said in her post. “I’m sorry if my 33 year old, 125 lb body offended you so much that you felt that pointing, laughing, and pretending to kick me.”
