ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — A heartwarming act of kindness between a grocery store worker and an elderly customer has gone viral.
It’s a photo captured by Keith Kiel, who posted it to Facebookafter a stop at his local Publix grocery store. According to his Facebook post, Kiel says the worker, Gage Boucher, saw an old man who couldn’t reach down to tie his shoe.
So the worker tied it for him — and retied the other shoe as well.
“I thought he should be recognized for his actions,” Kiel said in his post, which has been shared and “liked” thousands of times.
