PROVO, Utah — The Utah Open is this week at Riverside Country Club in Provo, and one of the highlights of the week took place on Monday afternoon with the annual Short Game Challenge.
Special Olympians team up with golf professionals and members of the media to play a nine-hole tournament.
“This is kind of the highlight of the week for us,” said Director of St. George Golf Colby Cowan. “I think they enjoy it, but we enjoy it just as much as they do. It really is, the partnership we have with them is something special to the Utah PGA and we’re grateful for that, for that relationship.”
