LOGAN, Utah – The home of Utah State University has been named one of the top 10 college towns of 2014, according to a livability.com study.

The study touted the university’s highly rated academic programs, beautiful campus and competitive sports and said if those weren’t enough, Logan’s outdoor activities and strong economy send the city over the top.

Livability.com said the city offers a well-educated population, high employment, affordable housing and entertainment.

According to the study, 20 percent of Logan’s residents are between the ages of 25 and 34.

Anyone who has visited the area knows its array of natural beauty including Bear Lake, often called the “Caribbean of the Rocky Mountains.”
