Study shows this could be secret to happy marriage

Posted

Want to live happily ever after? Make sure there are lots of people at your wedding.

A new study is showing the bigger the wedding guest list, the happier the marriage.

This is according to a study from the University of Denver and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

According to the study, less than a third of the couples that had fewer than 50 guests at their weddings reported “high marital quality.”

WGHP reported the percentage of quality rose with the number of guests on the big day.

However, according to WGHP, psychologist John Gottman from the University of Washington, who has studied marital stability for nearly half a century, refutes the claim, saying trust trumps all.

The study polled about 1,300 people.
