SALT LAKE CITY — People who bought season tickets for the Utah Blaze’s 2014 season may now be eligible for a refund if they file their claims before September 30.
Utah’s Division of Consumer Protection cite Turf Joe LLC dba Utah Blaze after the organization sold season tickets in advance and failed to provide refunds after the team canceled its participation in the 2014 AFL schedule.
Season ticket holders should file a complaint with the Division of Consumer Protection by September 30 for eligibility to be included in a Settlement Agreement for ticket refunds.
“While the Utah Blaze has decided to remain on the sidelines this AFL season, consumers who bought preseason tickets should not be penalized for their late play,” UDCP executive director Francine Giani said in a statement sent to FOX 13. “We urge ticket holders to respond to our Division by September 30 to be part of the settlement agreement.”
