SALT LAKE CITY -- Monday was the first day of what’s supposed to be a three-day hearing for a former West Valley City detective charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of Danielle Willard.
A judge will determine if there’s enough evidence to put Shawn Cowley on trial.
The state opened the preliminary hearing by calling the lead West Valley City detective, David Greco to the stand.
