WEST JORDAN, Utah - Bangerter Highway is back open after a water main break closes roads and flooded homes Monday morning.
A water main break flooded homes and closed streets in West Jordan at about 10:30 a.m.
The break has closed Bangerter Highway between 6200 S. and 7800 S. for hours.
Crews advised drivers to use Redwood or Mountain View as alternate routes.
Officials said a joint failed when they were replacing a meter at the Aquaduct turnout.
