Big Budah’s blog: A surgery with ten targets

Posted

I had surgery on all of my fingers on both hands to remove my fingernails due to health conditions. I had been living with pain in my hands for the past two years and am hoping the surgery will give me some relief.

Needless to say, I have been unable to work out as I am having difficulty even just dressing myself. On top of that, I have been on a regimen of pain medication and antibiotics. I can’t wait to get back to a normal schedule. I miss being out on the field with the football team and my kids’ activities.

One new addition to my extracurricular activities is that I am now part of the coaching staff for the Jordan High School sophomore girls basketball team.

I cannot thank enough all of those who were involved in helping me improve my quality of life: Doctors Cottam and Richards, Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, BMI Utah, FOX 13, my family and friends, and all of you for support and words of encouragement. Thank you!
