SALT LAKE CITY – Early voting began in Utah this week and will continue through the end of October, and various counties across the state are offering early voting during specified hours.
Early voting closes in Utah at 5 p.m. on October 31, and the general election is November 4.

The other option for casting a ballot ahead of Election Day is through an absentee/by-mail ballot. Applications to vote by mail must be received by the Thursday prior to the election, which falls on October 30 this year. Click here to visit vote.utah.gov to request an absentee/by-mail ballot.
